Introducing the DrainSAFE Stormwater Pollution Control unit - the perfect solution for keeping your stormwater system free of harmful oil, fuel and chemical spills. This serviceable unit retrofits inside your existing drain pit, sitting entirely beneath the drain grate without impeding wheel or foot traffic. In the event of a spill, simply extend and turn the handle within the unit to manually engage the mechanism that closes the unit and stops flow into the stormwater system. Keep your stormwater system clean and protected with DrainSAFE.

The stainless steel handle stows in a protective sheath within the diffuser body and beneath the grate. Once engaged, the telescopic handle will extend 500mm above ground level out of the grate for easy open and closing action.

In normal use, debris is automatically captured in the diffuser body and hydrocarbons are absorbed by a material and secured within the diffuser body until routinely removed for disposal.
