The Class 1 Silt Curtain Unconnected 20mL in 1m 260gsm NW-Geo Skirt is a ready-made silt curtain designed to help control sediment and suspended particles in low-risk water environments such as lagoons, ponds and streams. It provides a practical solution for projects where sediment management is required in water bodies with little to no tidal movement, wave action or strong wind forces.

This ready-made silt curtain features a 260gsm nonwoven geotextile skirt, supported by a 100mm × 50mm closed-cell foam float and a marine-grade 6mm galvanised chain ballast enclosed within a PVC pocket. The combination provides flotation at the water surface while helping the curtain remain positioned below the surface to assist with sediment containment.

The curtain is constructed from 400gsm PVC with good general chemical resistance and UV resistance of up to 2 years. It also incorporates universal ASTM F962 Z-connectors, YKK10 skirt connectors and stainless-steel anchoring points for practical installation and connection.

Available as a ready-made silt curtain in 10m and 20m lengths, with 1m and 2m drop options, this product provides flexibility for different project requirements. Pickup is available from our Sydney and Queensland warehouses, making it a convenient option for customers requiring a ready-to-use sediment control solution.

The 260gsm nonwoven geotextile has a 90-micron nominal pore size and a nominal flow rate of 130 L/m²/s.
